London, UK: Friday, 10th April 2026 – This morning marked the start of a wondrous weekend for the Disney Winnie the Pooh: The Lost Balloon immersive pop‑up at Westfield White City, part of Disney’s year‑long celebration of Pooh’s 100th anniversary.

The weekend‑long experience began with an exclusive preview event featuring a special appearance from BAFTA and Emmy‑winning National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory.

Drawing on insights from the recently released National Geographic series SECRETS OF THE BEES, now streaming on Disney+ and available to watch on National Geographic WILD, Gregory highlighted the essential role bees play in our ecosystems, drawing a natural link to Pooh’s well-known love of honey. His remarks also offered a thoughtful nod to the natural curiosity and gentle wisdom that have defined 100 years of Winnie the Pooh.

Broadcaster, author, and activist Louise Thompson also attended the event with her family saying: “Winnie the Pooh carries so much nostalgia for me, attending the event this morning transported me right back to my childhood. To be able to pass that down and relive it with my own child felt really special. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as Leo so definitely one for parents and children for memories both nostalgic and new.”

The weekend‑long event inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood honours a century of stories that have inspired generations. While advanced tickets are now fully booked, a limited number of same-day tickets will be released daily from 9am via DisneyTickets.co.uk.

About the Pop-Up

Disney Winnie the Pooh: The Lost Balloon invites families into a charming, story‑led journey inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood. The free immersive experience runs all weekend and follows guests as they help Pooh and friends search for Christopher Robin’s lost balloon through playful challenges and sweet surprises. Designed for fans of all ages, the walk‑through adventure is now fully sold out, with timed sessions running from Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April.

About Secrets of the Bees

Hosted and narrated by BAFTA and Emmy-winning National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory, SECRETS OF THE BEES uses groundbreaking filming technology to reveal the extraordinary world of bees. With the expertise of entomologist and fellow National Geographic Explorer Dr. Samuel Ramsey, the series uncovers their astonishing architecture and intelligence, unlocking their secrets and featuring never-before-filmed moments.
