Thursday 28th May, 2026: Voice cast and filmmakers from Disney and Pixar’s "Toy Story 5” attended the red carpet event at London’s Odeon Leicester Square this evening for the UK Launch Event of the eagerly anticipated film, marking the first stop of its global tour. 

Attending cast included Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Greta Lee, Jordan North and Sian Welby as well as Director Andrew Stanton and Producer Lindsey Collins. The red carpet was hosted by Joel Dommett and Charlie Marlowe who simultaneously presented a livestream of the star-studded event in select international markets on Disney+, with this being a first of its kind for a UK event. The livestream will be available to watch on catch-up on Disney+ from this evening. 

In the fifth instalment from the award-winning “Toy Story” franchise the toys are back, and this time, it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang's jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same? 

“Toy Story 5” is directed by Academy Award® winner Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, produced by Lindsey Collins and features an original score by Oscar® winner Randy Newman, who returns to score his fifth “Toy Story” feature. 

The film releases exclusively in cinemas June 19, 2026 with exclusive previews from June 18, 2026.
