London, Sunday 18th May 2025: London got a splash of island spirit today as Hannah Waddingham hit the red carpet for the UK Special Screening of Disney’s hotly anticipated live-action Lilo & Stitch. Bringing sunshine and aloha vibes to the capital, she was joined by comedian and host Rob Beckett—plus a special appearance from everyone’s favourite blue alien, Stitch. Fans and celebrity guests soaked up the fun ahead of the film’s UK cinema release on Wednesday, 21 May.

The UK Special Screening had additional special guests in attendance including Binky Felstead, Cally Jane Beech, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Daisy May Cooper, Dymund, Heidi Range, Jim Chapman, Judi Shekoni, Kat Shoob, Kelsey Parker, Laura Tobin, Linda Robson, Louise Pentland, Michail Antonio, Nadiya Bychkova, Tamara Ecclestone and Vanessa Feltz.

A live-action reimagining of Disney’s 2002 animated classic, “Lilo & Stitch” is the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the Oscar®-nominated filmmaker behind the animated feature film “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On,” the film stars Maia Kealoha, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis. “Lilo & Stitch” is produced by Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin, with Tom Peitzman and Ryan Halprin serving as executive producers.
