Disney celebrates ‘Freakier Friday’ with a unique remix of Girls Aloud’s energetic classic ‘You Freak Me Out’ by Joe Goddard. The original song supported the much-loved original ‘Freaky Friday’ movie in 2003. Hot Chip’s Goddard provides a swirling bass driven remix, that maintains the essence of the original song whilst adding boisterous, uplifting rhythmic currents infused with energy.

Freakier Friday - the eagerly anticipated sequel to the beloved Disney classic starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan is exclusively in cinemas now.
In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice. “Freakier Friday” is directed by Nisha Ganatra and based on the book “Freaky Friday” by Mary Rodgers. The film, which also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer and Mark Harmon, is produced by Kristin Burr, p.g.a., Andrew Gunn, p.g.a., and Jamie Lee Curtis, with Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin and Lindsay Lohan serving as executive producers.
Joe Goddard, alongside his work with Hot Chip, The 2 Bears, and HARD FEELINGS, Joe keeps busy as a solo artist, songwriter, producer, DJ, remixer, and co-founder of the Greco-Roman record label. Across all his projects, he is driven by a hunger for experimentation, an innate understanding of dance, pop, and indie music’s inner workings, and a heartfelt love of collaboration.
Joe embraces the role of ‘producer’ on a musical, practical, and spiritual level. His infatuation with dance music began as a teenager in the ’90s, attending clubnights where he progressed from indie and hip hop to drum’n’bass to house and garage.
On top of his solo records, Joe has released eight albums with Hot Chip, two with The 2 Bears, and one with HARD FEELINGS. Other projects include Extra Credit (with Justin Strauss and Marcus Marr). He’s worked with Jarvis Cocker, Peter Gabriel, and Bernard Sumner; remixed Jessie Ware, Kraftwerk, and Disclosure; co-wrote Katy Perry’s “Into Me You See”; and released the 2011 hit “Gabriel” with Valentina.
