DISNEY+ TO LAUNCH AN AD-SUPPORTED SUBSCRIPTION PLAN ON NOVEMBER 1 IN EUROPE

LONDON, U.K. (August 10, 2023) – Following the successful ad-tier launch in the U.S., Disney+ in the UK will introduce its ad-supported subscription plan in November, giving consumers more ways to subscribe than ever before and the ultimate flexibility in selecting a subscription plan that suits their needs.

From November 1 the new Standard with Ads, in addition to Standard and Premium subscription plans, will be available in the following countries: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Table 1 indicates pricing of Disney+ Subscription Plans in Europe that will apply to new customers starting from November 1.

Existing customers will remain in their current subscription, which will be renamed Disney+ Premium and will have the option to switch to Standard Plan or Standard with Ads Plan (except where noted). Existing customers who choose not to switch will be billed the new price starting from their next billing cycle on or after December 6th.
